  • Alex Byrd is an Associate Professor of History at Rice University. He holds a BA from Rice University and a Ph.D. from Duke University.
  • Marianne Cribbin is the former Executive Director of Human Resources for Spring Branch ISD. She holds a bachelors and masters degree from Texas Tech University.
  • Chardenay Davis is an English Teacher at BCM/Ryan Academy in HISD. She holds a B.A. in English  from Spelman College and a Master’s degree (MAT) from Rice University (2015).
  • Nella Garcia is the Managing Director - Talent Pipeline for YES Prep Public Schools. She holds a B.A. from Rice University.
  • Brian Gaston is Principal at North Houston Early College High School in the Houston Independent School District. Mr. Gaston received his bachelor of business administration in management from University of Texas at Austin and his master of education in teacher leadership from University of St. Thomas.
  • John Hutchinson is a professor of chemistry at Rice University. He holds a Bachelors and Doctorate from the University of Texas.
  • Mary Jackson is the former Chief Academic Officer in Fort Bend Independent School District. Dr. Jackson holds a B.A. from Mercer University, an MEd from Georgia State University and an Ed.D. from the University of Houston.
  • Miguel Ramos currently serves as Director of Institutional Effectiveness at the University of Houston, where his primary focus has been the practical application of assessment and evaluation strategies to enhance educational quality at the program and institutional level. He holds a B.A. from Rice University and Ph.D. from Boston College.
  • Rene Ruiz is the Director of Educator Preparation Solutions for Region 4 ESC in Houston. He holds a B.S. and and M.S. degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Houston.
