Gain the knowledge, skills and perspectives necessary for success in the worldwide free market with the "SHRM Global Learning System®." The Global Learning System is a powerful educational tool for HR professionals with international and cross-border responsibilities as well as a comprehensive test preparation system for the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI®) Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR®) certification exam. Please note that you must meet certain eligibility requirements and register by deadline to take the national examinations. Visit www.hrci.org. Houston-area HR professionals seeking to move up in their profession would benefit from the Global HR Development program. Who should attend: Study materials: Fee includes most recent printed edition of and online access to the "SHRM Global Learning System." Participants must have Web access. Cost of study materials is non-refundable once the materials are distributed. Please note that names and contact information for all enrollees will be submitted to the Holmes Corporation in order for GSCS to purchase the "SHRM Global Learning System" and other required materials. Refunds and cancellations: No refunds will be issued on or after the start date of the program. If enrollment is canceled in writing two weeks before the program start date, a full refund will be given less the cost of any course materials the participant has received. When enrollments are canceled in writing less than two weeks before the program start date, a refund less a 20 percent processing fee and the cost of any materials the participant has received will be issued, only if a replacement can be found for you. Instructors: Certificate of enrollment: All participants will receive a certificate verifying enrollment. Certificate of achievement: Participants in Global HR Development who complete the online post-test for each module, score a minimum of 70 percent on the online final examination and attend at least 70 percent of the classroom hours will receive a certificate of achievement with commensurate CEUs and recertification credits. HRCI certification information: The Global HR Development course, offered by the Glasscock School of Continuing Studies at Rice University, reflects the general body of knowledge tested by the national Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). The course of study outlined in this course will in no way guarantee or assure success on the HRCI exams. Please note that you must meet certain eligibility requirements for the GPHR national examination.
